The PSA N2 Generator is an important part of the car, its function is to power the electrical equipment when the engine is running normally, and to charge the battery. At present, the PSA N2 Generators used in vehicles are alternator, compared with the early DC PSA N2 Generators, the alternator has the advantages of small size, large power, long life, low fault and low charge performance.

The inverse power operation of the PSA N2 Generator set is harmless to the PSA N2 Generator itself. But there are two points to note:

1, at this time, the PSA N2 Generator into the motor operation, will be absorbed from the system active, to maintain its synchronous operation, the excitation system has not changed, but the system frequency may be reduced. At the same time to the power grid reactive, will not cause the system voltage drop, just changed to adjust the camera to run.

2, as a turbo-PSA N2 Generator, when the reverse power abnormal operation state, the turbine main steam door has been closed, the turbine tail blades due to friction with residual steam to form a blast loss, the blade from overheating and damage. Damage to the turbine. The above two reasons, the damage to the turbine is the main. Therefore, the large unit must install the inverse power protection. The main protection of this protection is the turbine.

PSA N2 Generators can be divided into DC PSA N2 Generators and alternator, because AC PSA N2 Generators in many respects than DC PSA N2 Generators, DC PSA N2 Generators are nearly eliminated.

The composition of alternator: generally consists of rotor assembly, stator assembly, rectifier assembly, end cover, pulley, fan and so on.

The function of the rotor is to produce a rotating magnetic field. The rotor consists of a claw pole, a magnetic yoke, a magnetic field winding, a conductive slip ring and a rotor shaft:

The rotor shaft is loaded with two claw poles, two claw poles each having six beak-shaped poles, and a magnetic field winding (rotor coil) and magnetic yoke in the claw-pole cavity.

The function of the stator is to produce three-phase alternating current. The stator is composed of stator core and stator windings. The stator core is folded by a silicon steel sheet with groove in the inner ring, and the stator winding wires are embedded in the groove of the core.

(1) The PSA N2 Generator does not operate according to the specified technical conditions, such as the stator voltage is too high, the iron loss increases, the load current is too large, the stator winding copper loss increases;

Low frequency, the cooling fan speed slows down, affecting the PSA N2 Generator heat dissipation, the power factor is too low, so that the rotor excitation current increases, causing the rotor to heat. Check to see if the monitor's instructions are normal. If not normal, to carry out the necessary adjustment and treatment, so that the PSA N2 Generator in accordance with the technical requirements of the operation.

(2) The three-phase load current of the PSA N2 Generator is unbalanced, and the overload phase winding will overheat;

If the difference between the three-phase current exceeds 10% of the rated current, that is, the serious kempi phase current imbalance, three-phase current imbalance will produce negative sequence magnetic field, thus increase the loss, causing the magnetic pole winding and sleeve hoop and other components heating. The three-phase load should be adjusted to keep the phase current as balanced as possible.

(3) The air duct is blocked by dust accumulation and poor ventilation, which causes the PSA N2 Generator to dissipate heat. Dust, grease, and smooth air duct should be cleared.

(4) The inlet air temperature is too high or the inlet temperature is too high, and the cooler has clogging phenomenon. The inlet or inlet temperature should be lowered to remove the blockage in the cooler. Before the failure is excluded, the PSA N2 Generator load should be limited to reduce the PSA N2 Generator temperature.

(5) Bearing plus grease too much or too little, should be in accordance with the provisions of the lubricating grease, usually the bearing room 1/2~1/3 (low speed of the upper limit, high speed of the lower limit), and not more than 70% of the bearing room is appropriate.

(6) Bearing wear. If the wear is not serious, the bearing local overheating, if the wear is serious, it is possible to make stator and rotor friction, causing the stator and rotor to avoid overheating. Should check whether the bearing noise, if found stator and rotor friction, should be immediately shut down for repair or replacement bearings.

(7) The stator core insulation damage, causing a short circuit between the pieces, resulting in the iron core part of the eddy current loss increase and fever, serious when the stator winding damage. Should be immediately shut down for overhaul.

(8) The stator windings of parallel wires break, so that the current of other wires increased and fever. Should be immediately shut down for overhaul.
